Why: Clotheslyne is committed to being more than just a service provider. As a community-driven platform, Clotheslyne seeks to offer meaningful ways for users to contribute to local charities and support those in need, especially during the spring cleaning season.
How: To donate, people must download our app and indicate in the special request section of their Clotheslyne order that they have clothing for donation, along with an estimate of how many bags they wish to donate.
If this step is missed, users can easily communicate with their Clotheslyne provider (Clotheslyner) before pick-up in our app. Donations should be placed in a separate, clearly labeled bag as “Donation Clothing.”
Clotheslyne ensures that donated items will not be mixed with laundry orders and confirms that donations are not dropped off until 48 hours after the order completion, allowing users peace of mind and the opportunity to reconsider any items.
Clotheslyne’s Clothes Drive initiative represents an innovative approach to leveraging the gig economy for the greater good. “We are excited to launch this initiative and help our users contribute to their local communities in a meaningful way,” said Daniel Feliciano, CEO of Clotheslyne. “It’s about making spring cleaning not just about decluttering but also about giving back. We believe that even small acts of kindness can make a big difference.”
Clotheslyne encourages all its users to participate in this spring’s clothes drive, a way to declutter responsibly and support those in need.
About Clotheslyne: Clotheslyne allows individuals to outsource their time-consuming laundry needs while creating an income source for service providers. To facilitate the connection, Clotheslyne developed an online and app-based marketplace that provides customers with several different service providers (traditional laundromats and nontraditional gig workers) based on the customer’s laundry needs. All laundry services include pick up and delivery at the customer’s preferred address and a menu of upgrades to meet each customer’s needs. Additionally, the marketplace provides employment and an income source at rates well above minimum wage for our service providers.
For those who prefer professional laundry care, Clotheslyne provides an ideal solution. Through the app, you can hire Clotheslyners for expert laundry services, including washing, drying, and folding of clothes and bulky items.
Choosing Clotheslyne ensures your laundry is handled with care and expertise. It’s convenient for those who value their time and prefer professional laundry services.
To use Clotheslyne, download the iOS Apple App or Google Play Store Android app to schedule your laundry pick up.
You can also schedule your laundry pick up through our web portal.
Fill up a tall kitchen bag full of clothes. A Clotheslyner in your community will pick it up and deliver it back to you washed, dried, and folded in 48 hours. It’s that simple.
